<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently heat liquid by friction so as to save power cost, by providing a rotor with a center cavity, and forming a fluid passage between the cavity and the periphery of the rotor thereby making the rotor into a fluid propeller. CONSTITUTION: When two rotors 32 and 16 rotate by driving a pump 29 and a propeller 10 within a closed system, the liquid is heated by the frictional contact with the rotors 33 and 16. Moreover, the pump device 29 supplies liquid in pressurized condition to the inlet cavity 20 of the propeller 10, and propels the liquid through a passage 22 having a limited orifice 26 from the cavity 20, and further heats it. Accordingly, the liquid is subjected to heating action effectively at all times without loss of efficiency, similar to the case where the rotor rotates simply within the fluid. By the combination between the pump action of the pump device 29 and the propulsion of the propeller, the outflow in radial direction from an outlet port 14 is secured, and the liquid can be let flow into an inlet port 15 through a heat exchanger, etc.</p> |
