PURPOSE:To prevent excessive partial heating in a copying machine by setting plural stopping positions of a scanner provided with an exposure lamp. CONSTITUTION:The stopping positions of the scanner are sequentially varied corresponding to the number of copies. For example, at the time of starting copying the 1st scanner moves to the position 7A and stops there, and after executing copying by specified number (n) of sheets on the position 7A, the 1st scanner moves to other stopping position 7B so as to execute copying by the specified number (n) of sheets on the position 7B. When copying by the specified number of sheets is completed on the position 7B, the scanner returns to the first position 7A to continue copying more. Thus, the partial heating in the copying machine can be prevented by moving the 1st scanner every time copying by specified number of sheets is executed. |
