This invention relates to an electric cord winding device for electrical appliances. This device winds the electrical cord in the form of zig-zag by action of two guiding plates and a slide knob. The plates, upper and lower both have a guiding hole divided into three linear parts which form linear "S". Both guiding plates are put one over the other so that both the center linear parts cross each other. Plural rods inserted into the knob are movable in defined linear grooves and are guided by the guiding holes, and thus the electric cord is wound in the form of zig-zag.
