PURPOSE:To supply a sample automatically and accurately by conveying a sample container in a sample rack to a sample feed opening automatically by using a conveying device, and then feeding the sample in the container into said feed opening. CONSTITUTION:The sample container conveying device 3 moves to the position of a prescribed sample container 7 in the sample rack 6-1 at a same feed position. Then the conveying device 3 moves down to the position of the sample container 7 by an elevation device and a clamping device clamps the sample container 7 at the position. In this state, the conveying device 3 moves up temporarily by the elevation device and then moves to the position of the sample feed opening of an automatic grinding machine 1 to convey said sample container 7. At this position, said clamping device is lowered and the sample container 7 is turned over to supply the sample which is aggregated inside into the sample feed opening. Those operations are all performed under the control of a controller 8. |
