PURPOSE: To obtain a valve capable of laying new pipes while water flows therein by perforating the side of the pipe to be replaced under the sealing condition thereof and putting an elastic hollow body through the hole into the pipe and expanding it therein. CONSTITUTION: An attachment 2 is attached on the upstream side of the pipe 1 to be replaced. Then a cutting device 12 is moved to perforate a hole 15 on the side of the pipe 1 when a ball valve 3 is in the closed state. After the ball valve 3 is open, a pipe 6 is slid to put an elastic hollow body 5 through the hole 15 into the pipe 1. Then fluid is sent to the pipe 6 and introduced to the elastic hollow body 5 by a fluid introducing means 7. In this way, the elastic hollow body 5 is expanded and contacts the interior of the pipe 1 tightly to stop the water flow in the pipe 1. After that, the pipe 1 downstream the closing valve for pipe replacement is replaced. |
