PURPOSE:To disinfect a closed room economically, easily and safely by a method wherein a germicidal gas feeding means feeds germicidal gas into the closed room when no presence of a man in the closed room is ascertained by a decision means. CONSTITUTION:When the power source switch of a controller 26 is closed, a detection signal produced by infrared ray sensors 24 is sent to the controller 26. In the case where a clean room 1 is disinfected, the detection signal produced by the infrared ray sensors 24 is sent to the controller 6, and whether or not there is a man in the clean room 1 is ascertained depending upon whether or not the detection signal is on. When no presence of a man in the clean room 1 is ascertained and displayed, the remote control knob 3 of a door 2 is locked by a control signal coming from the controller 26 so as not to permit any man to enter the clean room 1. Then, the operation of an air conditioner 8 is stopped, a formalin gas generator 19 is actuated and a blower 11 is operated. Thereby, formalin gas is fed into the clean room 1 through an outlet port 18. |
