<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the editing jobs and also to reduce the cost of an editing device, by adding a key having a format common to various element data. CONSTITUTION:A key has a format common to various element data on the documents, photographs, illustrations, etc. The data equivalent to one page are produced with the use of said element data, key and the data on the layout. An input means is provided with such element data as documents, etc., that can be supplied via a keyboard, together with a setting means for the key corresponding to said element data, a work station (a personal computer, a word processor, etc., except an editing device). Thus it is possible to produce the document data in addition to the simple editing data (device type information) containing numeric characters, symbols, etc., via the work station and to supply them directly.</p> |
