PURPOSE: To keep the level of the oil reserved within a rotary compressor, by inhibiting the rise of the number of revolution of a motor until the temperature of a sealed case goes up to the specified temperature against the temperature of the condenser, and keeping the quantity of a circulating refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A controller 22 gets the differenceΔT(=T1 -T2 ) between the temperature T1 inputted from, for example, a temperature sensor 20 on case side and the temperature T2 of heat exchanger from a temperature sensor 21a on heat exchanger side, and it does not raise the number of revolution of a motor 8, even if air conditioning load is large, until the case temperature T1 comes to a certain temperature or over from the temperature T2 of heat exchange, for example, until the temperature differenceΔT becomes 10 deg.C or over. In the course of time, the operation with a little quantity of circulating refrigerant is performed. Moreover, an outdoor heat exchanger 5 to serve as a condenser at cooling is provided with a heat exchange temperature sensor 21b connected to the control circuit 22, too, and also at cooling operation, the number of revolution of the motor 8 is not raised until the case temperature T1 goes up to the specified temperature to the heat exchange temperature T2 similar to the warming operation.
