<p>PURPOSE:To provide a moisture sensitive sensor which is capable of sharply detecting a change in relative humidity by using potassium titanate as the element material of the moisture sensitive element which detects the change in relative humidity by a change in electrostatic capacity. CONSTITUTION:The potassium titanate is used as the moisture sensitive element material and is uniaxially molded and sintered. Electrodes 2, 2 are formed on both faces of the sintered moisture sensitive element 1 and are connected to an AC power supply 4. This moisture sensitive sensor is placed in a measuring place and the fluctuation in humidity in the measuring plate is detected by the change in the electrostatic capacity displayed on the AC power supply 4. The potassium titanate is preferably selected from the group consisting of potassium tetratitanate, potassium hexatitanate, potassium ditianate and the hydrate thereof.</p> |
