PURPOSE:To obtain a hair dye composition, capable of preventing damage of the hair, providing excellent dyed and finished state and having improved shampoo resistance and light fastness, by blending mucopolysaccharides with other ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A hair dye composition obtained by blending mucopolysaccha rides selected from hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, chondroitin sulfate, mucoitin sulfate, caronin sulfate, chitin, alpha-heparin, keratan sulfate, dermatan sulfate and salts thereof in an amount of 0.001-5wt.%, preferably 0.01-3wt.% based on the total weight of the hair dye agent with other ingredients. The mucopolysaccharides are preferably blended in the first agent consisting of an oxidation dye intermediate of a two-pack type hair dye consisting of the first agent and the second agent consisting of an oxidizing agent. Furthermore, an animal peptide (e.g. collagen hydrolyzate) in an amount of 0.1-10 times based on the mucopolysaccharides is blended to further improve the action thereof. |
