PURPOSE:To improve yield of electrolytic ionized water by using a plurality of electrolyzers in which alkali ionized water and acidic water are produced by electrolysis of water and connecting them in series at a plurality of steps so that only electrolytic ionized water of the front-step electrolyzer is introduced into the water supply part of the next-step electrolyzer. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of electrolyzers 1a, 1b and 1c are impressed with DC voltage from an electric source circuit 10 to electrolyze water fed into an electrolytic cell 7 and both alkali water and acidic water are separately discharged through an alkali water discharge path 9a and acidic water discharge path 9b respectively. The alkali water discharge path 9a of the primary electrolyzer 1a is connected with the water supply path 8 of the next-step electrolyzer 1b and furthermore if necessary, the alkali water discharge path 9a of the secondary electrolyzer 1b is connected with the water supply path 8 of the tertiary electrolyzer 1c. The yield of alkali ionized water for raw water can be improved by connecting a plurality of electrolyzers in series in such a way. Further the acidic ionized water discharge path 9b can be connected with the water supply path 8 in series according to the aim for use.
