PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive material having a higher critical temp. than the temp. of liq. nitrogen by incorporating Cl, Br, B or P into a Y.Ba.Cu- based superconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A Y.Ba.Cu-based superconductive material is obtd., e.g., by sintering a mixture of powders of YCl3, BaCl2 and CuCl2.
