PURPOSE:To perform high speed processing by providing a writing means for processing pattern data which is read from a storage means through rotation at an optional angle and writing the processed date into an image memory. CONSTITUTION:Character code and various command data which are input to an I/F driver 2 from CPU 1 are written into a system RAM 5 under the control of CPU 3. In addition, for instance, sintheta and costheta values which correspond to a rotating angle theta are stored in a system ROM 4 using a table format. CGROM 6 incorporates all pattern data corresponding to character codes. Further, a memory area constituted of dots is shared by character codes. In a frame memory 7, pattern data which is read from CGROM 6 is written in a prearranged area. The CGROM also has pattern data written after application of rotational processing to the data. Video data which is output through V/F8 is actually printed on paper by a printing part 9. |
