PURPOSE:To obtain the title superconductive substance suitable for mass production and capable of providing wire rods and products of complicated shapes by heating a specified superconductive substance material to obtain vitreous melt, cooling, and crystallizing the melt. CONSTITUTION:A La-M-Cu-O or Y-M-Cu-O based superconductive substance material is heated to obtain vitreous melt (M is Ba, Sr, and Ca). The melt is then cooled, and crystallized. The superconductive substance material generally designates oxides, carbonates, or nitrates, and the powders of these salts are mixed and heated to obtain the vitreous melt. Accordingly, when the melt is placed in a die or drawn into a wire as in the production of glass fiber and the product is annealed in a prescribed temp. range, a crystallized molded product or wire rod can be easily obtained. |
