The present invention relates to a box preferably of made of cardboard, in particular allowing the wedging of the contents. According to the invention, the box is constituted by a bottom 1 bordered by four lateral sides 2, 3 and optionally a lid 6. At least one of these four lateral sides 2, 3, comprises an articulation 4 with the bottom in order to form a moving lateral flap which allows the adaptation of the volume of the box to its contents.
