<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely prevent a vehicle from being stolen by an unfair measure such as direct connection of an electrical system or the like, by enabling an engine to be started due to mechanical identification and electronic code identification and by energizing a warning means when a start of the engine is detected if the identification is unsatisfactory. CONSTITUTION:When a key is inserted into a key switch 2a, an electronic code given by infrared rays between a key side light emitting element 8 and a switch side light receiving element 11 is identified with an inherent value stored in memory by a CPU 21 in addition to the identification of the shape of the key(mechanical identification), and if both are coincident with each other, relays 32, 34 are turned on to feed power to a starter motor 33 so as to enable an engine to be started. When a start of the engine is detected due to direct connection of an electric circuit or the like even though the identification of the electronic code is unsatisfactory, an alarm generating circuit 23 and an alarm output power circuit 24 are energized to drive head horns and heal lamps to issue an alarm. Thereby it is possible to surely prevent the vehicle from being stolen due to direct connection of the electric system or the like.</p> |
