Device for the packaging and protection of containers: it comprises a flexible material such as thick cardboard, folded around the utensil and cut out when flat in such a way as to comprise a section c1 adapted to form the external covering of the bottom of the container, at least two arm sections a1, a2 adjoining this section, angularly offset and long enough to be able to be folded over the edge of the container and reach the bottom of the latter and a third arm a3 placed along the bisectrix of the angle formed by the first two, the third arm having a shape adapted to hook onto the handle of the utensil or to be folded inside the container if the latter has no handle.
