Process for the biological decontamination of soils

A process is described for the biological decontamination of soils which are contaminated by pollutants, in which process the soil is loosened by blasting by means of explosive introduced into the soil. The growth of microorganisms, in particular bacteria, which degrade the pollutants in the soil is subsequently promoted by introducing nutrients, oxygen, water and/or the like.
