PURPOSE:To prevent warp of molded positive pole by arranging an elastic ring shaped base having the L-shaped sectional view at the periphery of positive active substance pressurizingly molded into a disk and then fixing a separator to such base. CONSTITUTION:On the occasion of pressurizingly molding a positive active substance consisting of powdery manganese dioxide into a disk, an elastic ring- shaped polypropylene base 2a having the L-shaped sectional view is arranged in the periphery of active substance accommodated in the metallic die and it is pressurizingly molded. Thereafter, a separator 3 consisting of unwoven fabric of polypropylene is fused to said base 2a for integration. Therefore, since the base 2a easily follows elongation in the radius direction of the molded positive pole 1 due to the residual stress after the pressurized molding, warp of molded body 1 can be prevented and simultaneously dislocation of separator 3 and short- circuitting during operation can be prevented. |
