PURPOSE:To obtain the stereoscopic vision of an optional picture by the operation of an operator by outputting the memory information of a right side and a left side respectively, and at the same time, controlling a right and a left shutters. CONSTITUTION:It is a stereoscopic video device, which is provided with respectively a left side shutter between a displaying means 102 and the left eye of a viewer and a right side shutter between the displaying means 102 and the right eye of the viewer, and obtains a stereoscopic picture by opening only the left side shutter when a left side picture is displayed and only the right side shutter when a right side picture is displayed as performing synchronization control according to a right/left discriminate signal. It is provided with a frame memory 101b to fetch the left and the right information, and is constituted so as to obtain the stereoscopic still picture of the stereoscopic picture by outputting the right and the left memory information repeatedly, and at the same time, controlling the right and the left shutters. Thus, the stereoscopic picture can be made to stand still, and the picture, the operator desires to see, can be seen as it is stereoscopic and in a standstill, and a pleasure to see the stereoscopic picture is increased. |
