PURPOSE:To obtain a clear color tone and superior light resistance and to prevent the wear of a pin in a pressure-sensitive transfer recording, by providing a coloring material layer made of an ink composition containing a specific azo dye, a wax, and/or a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A transfer recording sheet in use is provided with a coloring material layer made of an ink composition containing an azo dye shown by a formula (I), a wax with a melting or softening point of 40-150 deg.C, and/or a thermoplastic resin on a substrate. In the formula (I); D represents a benzen ring or naphthalene ring which has SO3M group at the ortho position of an azo group and may have the other substituents; X represents -CO-, -CO-O-, and -SO2-; R represents alkyl or substituent phenyl; and M represents hydrogen atom, alkali metal, amines, or ammonium. This sheet exhibits a clear color tone on an OHP film with a large coloring power, furthermore having no possibility of wearing a sheet impact pin in the application to a pressure-sensitive recording. |
