Structural elements having specific, in particular sound-absorbing, properties, are usually configured in a number of layers. The connection of these layers usually takes place by additional screw-connection members. Consequently, the known structural panels are complex to produce. The production thereof is to be simplified by the structural panel according to the invention. The invention proposes a structural element, namely a sound-insulation wall element (20), whose carrying panel (22) and covering panel (23) are directly connected to one another in a positively locking manner, preferably by a dovetail-like connection of corresponding grooves (31) and tongues (34). The structural elements according to the invention are particularly suitable for forming a sound-insulation wall, but also for producing structure walls and facade claddings. <IMAGE>
