A continuous grill, in particular for steaks, is described which has at least one band-type conveying means (11) guided via deflecting means (18, 19) and at least two heating arrangements for roasting or grilling both sides of the steak. In this arrangement, each band-type conveying means is constructed as a closed sheet-metal band (11) which can be heated up to the roasting temperature in a roasting section (40). Scrapers (26), capable of being placed onto each band (11), are provided to remove adhering particles. <IMAGE>
