A process for eliminating odours from textiles and woven goods, in particular from textiles and woven goods based on cellulose and protein fibres (cotton, wool) and blended fibres is characterised by the following process steps: treatment of the textiles and of the woven goods with dry steam in a closed treatment space, addition of odour-binding agents, removal of the steam by suction, cooling of the textiles and of the woven goods, and treatment of the textiles and of the woven goods with cold dry air. Odours are particularly rapidly and permanently eliminated from textiles and woven goods by this means.
