The object of the invention, when sealing a leakage point in a pipeline by means of injection material introduced from the outside through an injection line, is to prevent sub-quantities of the injection material, fragments of the pipeline or earth from passing into the interior of the pipe. Before the introduction of the injection material (4), a hose (5) which is closed at the front is introduced into the pipeline (1) over the leakage point (2), is laid against the inner surface of the pipeline by a pressure means and is removed from the pipeline (1) once the injection material has set or hardened. Repairing parts of buried pipelines to which it is not possible to gain access by foot. <IMAGE>
