Recombinant eukaryotic cells producing interleukin-2 which contain, with the means needed for their expression, a DNA sequence coding for dihydrofolate reductase and a DNA sequence coding for a hybrid precursor of interleukin-2 in which the peptide signal is that of one of the natural precursors of the human growth hormone. The invention also relates to the process and the vectors for obtaining these cells and to the process for obtaining interleukin-2 from the latter. Application: production of interleukin-2.
