Power-assisted clutch and gearshift device

A safety device (1) is arranged in a pressure line (2) between the master cylinder (4), mechanically connected to the clutch pedal (3), and a slave cylinder (5) for operation of the clutch. The said device comprises a safety valve (11) and a 2/2 directional control valve (12), designed as solenoid valve, and closes the pressure line (2) when no gear is engaged in the transmission (7). The solenoid valve (12) can be synchronously switched by way of a control device (9) in order, in the event of premature actuation of the clutch pedal, to prevent jerky engagement on opening of the pressure line (2) after completion of the gearshift. The clutch can also be closed by means of a specific pressure control.
