The invention relates to a mounting device for optical waveguide connector couplings (passage couplings) on the front panel (assembly wall) of apparatuses of the electronics industry. The mounting device consists of a holding segment of double U-shaped profile in which the triangular flanges of the optical waveguide connector couplings are placed, in each case rotated about 180@ about the longitudinal axis, held with a pressure tape, which corresponds to the profile of the holder frame segment, by means of snap-in pressure closure elements or pressed against one another in the guide which is located at the front panel (assembly wall) by lateral displacement of these assembly parts and thus locked with respect to each other. By means of this mounting device extremely short assembly and disassembly times are achieved for a group of optical waveguide connector couplings on the front panel (assembly wall) in conjunction with high mechanical strength of this connection. The assembly area required for each optical waveguide plug connection is extremely small and permits the implementation of very small grid dimensions (contact spacings) on the front panel (assembly wall). The mounting device makes it possible to replace the optical waveguide connector couplings, which are worn out after a predetermined number of insertions, in front of the front panel (assembly wall).
