A container of deep-drawing material is described, for transporting and storing articles, which container is permanently connected to at least one plate-shaped reinforcing part of a different material, in particular metal, in that the deep-drawing material at least partially surrounds the reinforcing part at the edges and/or the deep-drawing material is drawn into holes in the reinforcing part. In this manner, containers of this type for industrial applications can be produced from cost-effective deep-drawing material, which containers are nevertheless distinguished by excellent properties of use.
