发明名称 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING DEPTH UTILIZING SOUND WAVE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable measurement of depth for a drilling hole or the like instantaneously and accurately, by incorporating correction by a temperature inside a hole into computation of a depth at an end of the inside of the hole or an underground water level. CONSTITUTION:An underground water level measuring apparatus is made up of a sound wave generating/arithmetically processing section 1 concurrently functioning as sound wave generator and an arithmetic processor, a temperature measuring section 3 and an output section 4. A microcomputer 11 at the sound wave generating/arithmetically processing section 1 computes a delay time between a peak of a transmission signal and a peak of an echo signal and corrects the delay time by a balance temperature or an average temperature of a hole determined from a temperature data measured by the temperature measuring section 3 to determine depth. The results of the computation are displayed immediately on a liquid crystal display device 41 of the output section 4 while being stored into a memory 22 and printed out with a printer 43 as required.
