<p>PURPOSE:To access all picture elements even with a small number of data by increasing the distance R of polar coordinates finely, checking corresponding X and Y values of orthogonal coordinates, and increasing an address value by one and writing data in a picture element when there is an increase. CONSTITUTION:A data position shown by polar coordinates (R, theta) is transformed into X and Y address of the orthogonal coordinates by a 1st function generator 13 which generates the reciprocal of costheta, a 2nd function generator 14 which generates the reciprocal of sintheta, an X-axis division part 15 which counts a distance clock 22 indicating the R and sends out X-axial pulses by counting, and a Y-axis division part 16 which sends out Y-axial pulses and an X-axial counter 17 and a Y-axial counter 18 which count respective pulses and generate addresses are provided. An increment in the R at the time of each increase in address value by one is counted and written in a picture element, so all picture elements can be accessed.</p> |
