PURPOSE:To decrease the statistical errors and system errors of measurement data by providing two sets of double convergent spectral crystals which diffract and converge the beam from an X-ray source with the diffracted beam converging position disposed with a slit as the center of symmetry. CONSTITUTION:This spectroscope has the 1st double convergent spectral crystal 3 which diffracts and converges the X-ray beam from an X-ray generator 1, the slit 5 which is disposed in the converging position thereof and shuts off the scattered light, and the 2nd double convergent spectral crystal 7 which is disposed in the position symmetrical with the crystal 3 with the converging position of the slit as the center of symmetry. The crystal 7 attached with a mechanism 11 for rotating the crystal at a slight angle in order to cut higher harmonics. The inside surface of the crystal 3 consists of the spherical face of a radius R and since the generating source 1 exists on this spherical face as well, a beam density is increased and the effect of the slit 5 is improved. The system errors of the measurement data are extremely decreased. In addition, the statistical errors are decreased by disposing a sample 9 of a measuring instrument 10 to the spherical converging position of the crystal 7. |
