PURPOSE:To evade a reproducing operation in a transient state where structure is returned from single magnetic domain structure changed by the recording operation of a magnetic core in a thin film magnetic head to multi magnetic domain structure and to realize the accurate reproduction of information, by prohibiting the reproducing operation for a prescribed time after completing a magnetic recording operation. CONSTITUTION:In the state where magnetic domain structure is changing, a magnetic domain is unstable, and a noise proper to a magnetic thin film, etc., is generated, and when the reproducing operation is performed in such period, distortion is easy to be generated in a reproducing waveform, and high possibility to generate an error in readout information exists, therefore, the start of the reproducing operation is delayed by controlling a recording and reproduction switching circuit 5 so as not to be switched to the reproducing operation for a time of 100mus after the recording operation of the thin film magnetic head 2 is completed by a reproduction start delay means 6, thereby, the reproducing operation is prohibited while the structure changes from the single magnetic domain structure to the multi magnetic domain structure. In such a way, it is possible to reproduce the information without generating the error accurately. |
