PURPOSE: To prevent the degradation of service by cancelling previous car call registration and responding to a new car call to control the operation when a new car call occurs while an elevator stops or is running. CONSTITUTION: When data (c) from an operation controller 6 is the condition that an elevator is running and decelerating, a call registration device 4 judges that it is call registration inhibition and does not register a car call into a call memory device 5 even if a call detection device 3 detects a car call (a). On the other hand, when the elevator is not decelerating and running or stops, the call registration device 4 judges that it is call registration permit (d), replaces a car call (b) detected by the detection device 3 with previous call registration data, and registers it in the call memory device 5. Consequently, the call registration device 4 registers only one car call in the call memory device 5, and previous call is cancelled when a call button 1 is pressed newly to correct a car call.
