<p>PURPOSE:To make the operation of loading and the unloading a cassette smooth by furnishing two projections at the front side of the side wall of a sheet feeding cassette which is picked out in the square direction to the sheet feeding direction, and cutting the transmission system to a bottom plate by the first projection while releasing the contact of a separation roller by the second projection. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second projections 10 and 15 are furnished it the front side of the side wall of a cassette 1. A pin 18 is planted to a bracket 16 which is pivoted on a separation roller 8 and an interval is made between the pin 18 and the projection 15 in the drawing-out direction when the cassette 1 is loaded. The projection 15 has a sloped surface toward the pin 18, and by depressing the pin 18 with the sloped surface in the drawing-out time, the holding of sheets by a separation roller 8 and a sheet feeding roller 7 is released. Moreover, at time of drawing-out, the plate spring member of the shaft 20 of a pressure lever 3 to lift up a bottom plate 2 is separated from the projection 10 and approached to the cassette side, and a driving gear 29 and a gear 25 of the shaft 20 are cut off. Consequently, the pressure lever 3 is dropped outward from the hole of the bottom of the cassette 1, and the cassette 1 can be drawn out.</p> |
