PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of laser output by regenerating the circulating mixed gas of carbon dioxide gas laser through two catalytic reactions. CONSTITUTION:A reducing valve 1, an oscillating tube 2, a circulating pump 3 and a catalytic reactor 4 are provided in a gas circulating path. The catalytic reactor 4 is filled with Pt/Rh.Al2O3 as the first catalyst to convert carbon monoxide, oxygen and water in the mixed gas of helium gas as carrier gas, nitrogen gas as laser oscillation medium and carbon dioxide to carbon dioxide. Then C(Pt) is filled into upstream gas of the reactor 4 as the second catalyst and oxygen in the mixed gas is converted into carbon dioxide. Since CO and O2, which cause output lowering, are treated and converted to carbon dioxide through catalyst in this way, lowering of laser output is prevented. |
