A motor caravan comprises a seat arrangement indicated generally by the reference numeral 1 and comprised of a seat assembly 2 and a storage box 3. Seat assembly 2 comprises a cushioned rear seat surface 5 and an uncushioned plain rear member 6 hinged at hinge points 10 to provide for displacement relative to the floor of the motor caravan. Storage box 3 has a seat top 11 defined by two opposed square cross-section steel elongate side members which define an opening through which the seat cushion 7 is disposed in one position of the overall assembly. Hinging of the seat assembly 2 relative to the floor of the motor caravan displaces seat top 11 from cushion 7. A stud or spigot 23 forming part of the seat assembly 2 locates in channels 21, 22 defined by a surface mounted u-section metallic or plastics member 50. Hinging of seat assembly 2 at hinge points 10 causes a cooperation between spigots 23 and the respective channels 21, 22 so that the hinging action of the seat assembly 2 is accompanied by forward displacement of the storage box 3 so that when completely hinged forward the seat back 4 of the seat assembly 2 overlies the storage box. <IMAGE>
