Each pillar is hollow with an 'omega' shaped section whose open side is covered by a flat plate (2) on whose inside is a cog (3). It has a square central opening for an operating key. The cog (3) meshes with a rack (4) carrying a projecting finger (5) which grips into an eyelet (6) in the upper side of a wedge. Rotation of the cog (3) causes the rack (4) to move relative to two guide pins (7) until the shaped rack (4) causes the wedge (17) to be freed from the finger (5) for removal of the pillar.
