摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To uniformly distribute alloy constituents, prevent corrosion from being produced and plan the improvement of durability and safety by agitating molten material by means of an induction coil or inactive gas after melting of electrodes. CONSTITUTION:After raw material constituents of zirconium alloy are blended, this is briquetted-shaped to form electrodes, consumable electrode type vacuum arc melt is performed by the use of the electrodes. An induction coil 20 is arranged in the outside of the melting metal 12 and electromagnetic force is made to act by sending electric current to swirl and agitate it. The agitation can also by performed by inactive gas. The molten metal is manufactured to form a raw pipe and a coating pipe for nuclear fuel is formed. Therefore, alloy constituents are uniformly distributed, the production of corrosion is prevented, and durability and safety heightened.</p>
