LEVEL SHIFTER CIRCUIT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To save the energy consumption and to miniaturize a circuit by opening and closing a second gate with a second control voltage from a first gate switch opened and closed by a first control voltage. CONSTITUTION:Printing signals VC1-VC3 to control the ON and OFF of thermal head heating bodies R1-R3 gate N channel MOSFET(NMFET) Qs1-Qs3 through CMOS inverter circuits 1a-1c. Respective drains of NMEFETQs1-Qs3 are connected to respective gates of NMFETQd1-Qd3 for driving and connected to current mirror circuits (PMFET)Qc1-Qc3. Since a constant small current flows at an earth from a direct current power source Vf through a constant current circuit composed of a PMFETQCD and a high resistance Rh, the potential of a connecting point 2 becomes constant and the constant current flows at the drain of the PMFETQc1-c3. The PMFETQc1-c3 execute the action of the pull-up resistance and the signal of the low voltage is level-shifted to the control signal of a high voltage.
