PURPOSE:To manufacture a sun visor whose external appearance and feeling are favorable without forming a welded part projected on the circumference of the sun visor, by performing welding through pressurizing and cutting at the same position by the edge of a blade formed on an upper electrode body. CONSTITUTION:A core material 31 is put between cushion materials 32, the top and bottom of the cushion material 32 are coated with a pair of the outer skins 33 comprised of thermoplastic resin and an upper electrode body 1 is lowered by mounting them into a recessed part 22 of a lower electrode body 2. The outer fringe of the skin is put between the edge 15 of a blade and a receiving seat 21 and welded through high-frequency heating under a state where pressing force is applied to them in such an extent that the skin is not cut off by the edge 15 of the blade. The skin 33 is cut off at a position of the edge 15 of the blade by applying far greater pressing force to the above edge 15 of the blade after the lapse of a predetermined cooling period of time. Therefore, the external circumferential part of a sun visor 3 can be recognized into a rounded form when the same is viewed in general and the external appearance can be improved. |
