<p>PURPOSE:To improve folding ability of an air bag and thereby improve storing and unfolding ability of the same by forming a bag portion of the air bag of cloth having METSUKE in specified value and attaching a tape like reinforcing body between opposing inner faces of the bag body. CONSTITUTION:A shock eliminating air bag, which is attached to the steering wheel or the instrument panel of an automobile via a hole 4 for attaching a bag body, has a bag body 1 formed of sewing up 5 semispherical cloths 6', 6' and an exhaust port 3 is provided on the rear side cloth 6'. On such an air bag, the bag portion is formed of cloth having METSUKE lower than 155g/m<2>. And a tape like reinforcing body (strap) 2 should be attached between opposing inner faces of the bag body 1.</p> |
