PURPOSE:To prevent a miscopying caused by toner emptiness in developing devices by displaying whether the toner in the plural developing devices used for simultaneous-color copying is empty or not by means of a toner emptiness display means. CONSTITUTION:A print starting key 71, a display part 72 which has a numeric display 73, a black toner emptiness display (toner emptiness display means) 74 and a color toner emptiness display (toner emptiness display means) 75, etc., are arranged on a console panel 70. A toner emptiness detecting means detects whether the toner of each developing device is empty or not and when the simultaneous-color isn't selected, one of the plural display means displays whether the toner is empty or not. When the simultaneous-color is selected, the plural display means display whether the toner of each developing device used for simultaneous color copying is empty or not. Thus, the residual of the toner can be grasped before copying is performed so that the miscopying caused by the toner emptiness can be prevented. |
