PURPOSE:To prevent a miscopying when a series of copying actions applied to a document comes to an end with a simultaneous-color mode selected by controlling so as to release the simultaneous-color mode. CONSTITUTION:A simultaneous-color performs two-color image forming in one copying action. The simultaneous-color mode is selected by a signal from a detecting switch 43 provided on a lever 41 and the simultaneous-color mode is released by a signal from a reference position detecting switch 47. Moreover, when a series of the copying actions applied to one document comes to an end, the simultaneous-color mode is released. The termination of a series of the copying actions applied to one document includes, for example, a while after the copying actions come to an end, the moment that an original cover is opened the moment that a multi copy comes to an end and the moment that the corresponding document is ejected at the time of using an automatic original carrier device, etc. Thus, the next document is copied by an ordinary mode and the miscopying can be prevented without performing the releasing operation of the simultaneous-color mode. |
