The towing vehicle has a main bar (2) carrying a tilting bar (4) pivotal between a substantially horizontal position and a substantially vertical position by means of a light hydraulic auxiliary cylinder (9). Further, in its substantially horizontal position, the tilting bar (4) can be subjected to angular adjustment with a view to achieving optimal loading conditions.
