The core (1) of, e.g. rigid foam, is flanked by two wire mesh frames (2,3) hooked together at a connecting seam (5) to form a fully closed or partially open cage. The frames (2,3) can be sepd. from the core (1) which normally is of parallelepipedal shape so that a frame can be fitted over each face. According to its purpose the material of the core may be chosen for specific properties, e.g. compatibility with coating material or plaster, or impermeability to sound, heat, shock waves or magnetic fields, etc. USE/ADVANTAGE - Partition walls and surfaces for mounting or display, or temporary buildings or vehicles etc. Adaptable and easily assembled and integrated with electric, pneumatic or hydraulic conduits, air ducts and water pipes.
