The single-axle tractor unit consists of a drive train placed under a chassis (1) carrying a control cabin (2), an internal combustion engine (3), and a transmission unit which may be either electric, hydraulic, or mechanical. A rear drive train comprising a driven axle (5) on which a trailer is mounted is also included. The two drive trains are coupled by an interchangeable chassis (13), coupled to the front drive train by a coupling articulated in both horizontal and vertical directions and to the rear train by bolts (14). USE/ADVANTAGE - In agriculture, for example gathering of beetroots into hopper. Provides better use of capital equipment by providing single adaptor to quickly connect single-axle tractor unit to various trailers.
