PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having high critical current density, high critical temperature and narrow transition temperature range, by dissolving, dispersing or suspending the carboxylic acid salt and/or inorganic compound of elements of three specific types in a solvent, removing the solvent from the solution, etc., and calcining the obtained mixture. CONSTITUTION:A homogeneous mixture is produced by dissolving, dispersing or suspending the carboxylic acid salts and/or inorganic salts (e.g. nitrate) of elements of three specific types consisting of (A) one or more kinds of elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba among the group IIa elements of the periodic table, (B) one or more kinds of elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanoids among the group IIIa elements and (C) Cu in about 10 times volume of a solvent such as distilled water and/or methanol. The solvent is removed from the mixture e.g. by vacuum concentration and the obtained mixture is calcined at 800-1,000 deg.C for >=2hr optionally after prebaking at 300-500 deg.C for 30-60min. |
