PURPOSE:To improve the visibility of a stereoscopic picture at the time of reproduction by adjusting a left and a right video images separately by adding a circuit capable of adjusting the video image of every field, i.e., every left or right video signal in a stereoscopic picture reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The video signal reproduced from a VTR 10 is inputted to a field signal generation circuit 4, a video image adjustment circuit 12 and the video image adjustment circuit 13. The field signal generation circuit 4 generates an alternating signal at every field, and drives an electro-optical shutter 7 by driving a shutter drive circuit 6. The video image adjustment circuits 12 and 13 are adjustable separately, and the outputs of them are inputted to a switch 14. The switch 14 is driven by the output of the field signal generation circuit, and the outputs having passed through the video image adjustment circuits 12 and 13 are obtained as its output alternately for every field. Namely, the picture, the left and the right video images of which are controlled separately, is displayed on a display 5. |
