PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting material of oxide type having high transition temperature and large critical current density, by uniformly dissolving or dispersing a compound containing an element of group IIa, an element of group IIIa and copper, respectively in a solvent, removing the solvent directly as it is or hydrolyzing the solution and removing solvent and calcining. CONSTITUTION:A compound which contains one or more elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, one or more elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanide and copper and is obtained from compounds (e.g. compound shown by formula I, compound shown by formula II and copper phthalocyanine) selected from organometallic compounds containing a carbon-metal bond, metallic phthalocyanine derivatives and metallic cyclopentadienyl derivatives, respectively, is dissolved, dispersed or suspended in a solvent in a given ratio. Then the solvent is directly removed from the solution as it is or the solution is hydrolyzed and the solvent is removed and calcined to give a superconducting material of oxide type. |
